The senior Congress leader also demanded an unconditional apology from Sirsa for making the statement. The original video was shared by Karan Johar on his Instagram and he captioned it as ‘Saturday night vibes’. See post;
My wife was also present that evening (and is in the video). Nobody was in a “drugged state” so stop spreading lies & defaming people you don’t know!— Milind Deora मिलिंद देवरा (@milinddeora) July 30, 2019
I hope you will show the courage to tender an unconditional apology https://t.co/Qv6FY3wNRk
Bollywood celebs have always refrained from getting into political matters as it has always landed them into deep trouble but this time this MLA from Shiromani Akali Dal have accused them of using drugs in Karan Johar’s house party. Most of the netizens have slammed the Akali Dal leader for defaming Bollywood celebs.
“Get a life..it's a private party!!" one Twitter user posted to Sirsa, while another tweeted, "They just look like they’re having a good time to me."
Others pointed out that celebrities may have appeared to be “high” in the video as a result of consuming alcohol and not drugs.
“It appears to be a privately organized party & perfectly normal. What's the hassle here?” another posted.
