Will Deepika Padukone star in ace Badminton player P.V. Sindhu's Biopic ??

The pride of India P.V. Sindhu the ace Indian Badminton player is getting all the applauds for her win in Badminton World Championships which was held in Switzerland. Before this grand win she has won two silver and two bronze medals but this time left no space for mistakes and won the Gold medal.


She defeated, Nozomi Okuhara who is from Japan in the finals, with her firm hold over the match with scores 21- 7 and 21 -7 in the two sets. Sindhu has been making achievements since the debut in 2011 in the international badminton circuit.

With her accomplishiments lot of credit goes to her coach and mentor, Pullela Gopichand. Sindhu won Olympic silver medal 2016 in Rio de Janeiro and now she is prepping up for Olympic Games to be held in 2020 in Tokyo.

In the Bollywood industry many biopic films are made and some are in the making  like Parineeti Chopra starrer Saina Nehwal , Ranvir Singh starrer Kabir Khan’s ’83 the film ’,Sushant Singh Rajput and now there can be one more biopic on the way.


The actor Sonu Sood recently announced that he has reserved the rights to make a biopic on Badminton ace PV Sindhu. The biopic on this star players is currently in working where Sindhu has shared her desire to see the beautiful Deepika Padukone playing her character. Deepika who is currently shooting for Kabir Khan’s ‘83’ with hubby Ranveer Singh , has played this game earlier too as her father is also an ace badminton player. We still wait for the confirmation by the makers about the film and whether Deepika will be playing main lead in the film.


According to reports, there have been rounds that Akshay Kumar will be in the film playing the character of Sindhu’s coach Pullela Gopichand.
