Baahubali is undoubtedly among one of the biggest movies of Indian Cinema. The movie made the whole nation its fan. Both the first installment (Baahubali: The Beginning) and Baahubali: The Conclusion got the audiences going crazy. The second installment of the movie earned more than 1000 crore. It was highly appreciated technically as well. A 100-acre set was designed especially for the movie by National award-winning director Sabu Cyril. The fantasy world of Mahismati Kingdom was really grand. You might be thinking what happened to the set after the movie ended. Well, you will not be displeased by hearing the result. Bahubali Actually, the whole set has been opened for tourists. The set which has been built at Ramoji Film City is now an open attraction for tourists. To experience the beauty of the Mahismati Kingdom you have to pay a price of Rs 1250 and Rs 2349. According to a report in Mid-Day, a studio official said that Sabu Cyril’s assistants had apparently created 1500 sketches to help create this set. The same official was quoted saying, “A cumulative of over Rs. 60 crores was spent on creating the sets of the film over two parts. Besides the set, some props too have been retained for visitors to see. We have many film students, cinema lover, and even general public visiting us. At the moment, it’s the spot that is attracting maximum tourists for us." Producer of the movie Shobu Yarlagadda said, “The officials at Ramoji approached us with the idea and we were happy to oblige. It took us months to create the set and we were anyway planning to retain the set for later use. What better than to feel that we’ve created something for posterity.”
