Much has been said about Shah Rukh’s sabbatical from the big screen who miss his presence. Recently, a rumour has been doing rounds and it sparked excitement among his fans. It is being said that the actor will be announcing some major projects on his 54th birthday, i.e. 2nd November. There are rumours which say that he will be announcing not one but two projects, and there are others also which say that he will be announcing three big projects on the D-day.
The actor had backed Netflix original series and Emran Hashmi starrer, Bard of Blood. The audience gave a big fat thumbs up to the show.
Megastar will also be seen hosting the second season of Ted Talks India Nayi Baat. The show will be aired on Star Plus, Nat Geo, Hotstar and Star World on the weekends from 2nd November.
Well, with the finalising of the films, it can be said that SRK will be announcing his return to the silver screen on the grand occasion. According to a report, one of the projects will be with filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani and the other director who is said to be in talks with the actor is a south director, Shankar.
That's not it though. He is also talking to Indo-British director Gurinder Chadha, who has made hit films like Bend It Like Beckham, Bride and Prejudice and Blinded By The Light. If things work out between the two, then this is going to be SRK’s first international project.
And with this, SRK will be giving three big return gifts to his fans on his birthday.
Talking about his films, the king of romance said
“Jokes apart, I am thinking and taking some time. I am working on two or three scripts and, Inshallah, as soon as they are ready, I am ready. Because most of the people with whom I am working are busy so, Inshallah, I will announce it myself. I feel till the time rumours are floating around, it’s good because some of them have given me ideas.”
Of all the three Khans of the tinsel town, it is only Salman Khan who’s all excited and full of zeal about his forthcoming film, Dabangg 3. Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh don’t seem really keen on mentioning about their upcoming ventures.
Aamir and SRK had their last releases in 2018, Thugs Of Hindostan being Aamir’s last release and Zero being SRK’s release. Both films could not impress the audience at the box office.
