In a stunning episode of air terminal lapse, an Indian origin business women flew from Manchester to New Delhi on her better half's passport without being seen by immigration experts. The carrier has however apologized for the inconvenience caused and has launched an investigation into how did the lady travel 4,200 miles on another person's passport. According to report, Geeta Modha incidentally grabbed her spouse Dilip's passport while she set off on a business trip to India on 23 April. Strikingly, she boarded and traveled without any hassle to India. Geeta has even claimed that “At check-in, the staff member even made me move stuff from one bag to another because it was 2kg over - and yet let me travel with the wrong passport,” [caption id="attachment_35975" align="alignnone" width="800"] Source[/caption] In addition, Modha had a stop-over in Dubai before she traveled to India and the need to demonstrate her passport did not emerge as she has an Overseas Citizenship of India. The blunder got discovered in Delhi after she was declined passage into India and was sent back to Dubai on the following accessible flight. Emirates, however, has apologized saying its "usual high standards were not followed". On the other end, disturbed by the incident, Geeta told a newspaper, “It’s scary and worrying that people aren’t checking properly. The fact they say they are so strict on security in airports but you can do this in 2018 is terrible.” Mrs. Modha at that point allegedly got stranded at Dubai air terminal overnight until the next flight came in with her passport from Manchester.
