Eyes are mirror to the soul. And this mirror gets blurry due to the constant glaring at your laptop and computer screen in the offices. Not only your brain, but your eyes also need to take a chill-pill through the day because of excessive work (read, slavery) they are doing day-in, day out.
Here are a few tips to keep those beautiful
akhiyaan away from infections and weakness:
PROPER LIGHTING
Your eyes strain to read not only in dim light but also in excessive light. So next time just tone down the ambient light and pull down those blinders to keep the sunshine out while using computers. If the lamp is causing the trouble, shift your screen to avoid the glare.
BLINK OFTEN
Ask us the easiest way to avoid eye strain.... Well, it's the most underrated involuntary action our eyes do almost constantly: Blinking. It provides the much needed break to the eyes along with lubricating them. This avoids dryness and keeps the toxins out of those
nainas. So next time, just blink but don't look like a goof!
TAKE SOME BREAK
Take a Break. Not like go on vacay or something.. (Although that would help too!) But short intervals, say after 20 minutes. Just take a break from constant stare-match you are playing with the computer screen and close your eyes for a while. It helps the re-lubrication and rehydration process. Relax those eyes and join the duel back with renewed focus.
EYE EXERCISES
Exercise... Not like go ask your gym trainer for eyes exercises the next time. But just sit back in that chair and roll your eyes (just confirm that boss is not around). Roll them clockwise, then anti-clockwise direction. Do at least five sets of each and you can repeat this a few times in the day. This is a way to strengthen the eye muscles.
MONITOR ADJUSTMENTS
Need we tell you how to play the technology game as well? Monitor settings should be adjusted, the brightness and contrast, to avoid strain to the eyes.
