Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited film ‘ZERO’ may have faced huge loss at the Box-office but still, the actor is leading his way ahead of his contemporaries Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. Confused? We have the answer.
The romantic drama, which also starred Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles, has completed its 11-day run at the box-office but is yet to touch the Rs 100 crore-mark. The total earning of the Aanand L Rai directorial is a little over Rs 85 crore but still, this film managed to win the hearts.
There is one department where Shah Rukh Khan has beaten Salman and Aamir hands down – the IMDb ratings. While Race 3 and Thugs of Hindostan currently have IMDb ratings of 2.1 and 3.5 respectively, Zero’s is a respectable 6.2. Quite surprisingly, the combined rating of Race 3 and Thugs of Hindostan is less than that of Zero.
Zero, which has SRK in the role of Bauua Singh, a vertically-challenged man based in the city of Meerut in Uttar Pradesh, opened to mixed reviews from film critics across the country. The word of mouth for the film was no better, which became the primary reason behind its massive failure at the box-office.
The year 2018 have been the unluckiest for all the three Khans (Shahrukh, Aamir Salman). Earlier in 2018, Salman Khan was seen in the third Installment of crime thriller Race which was a complete disappointment.
Then on the Diwali weekend Thugs Of Hindostan happened which turned out to be a huge Box-office debacle. The film turned out to be the biggest failure in Aamir Khan’s film career.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is next to be seen in Rakesh Sharma biopic. The film which is titled as ‘Saare Jahaan Se Accha’ will go on floors in March 2019. After completing this, the actor will start working on the third installment of his most successful franchise Don.
